Thank you for enquiring with Como Historic House and
Garden in conjunction with Bursaria Fine Foods for your
Wedding Ceremony. We will assist you with making your
special day the memory of a life time.
Como Historic House and Garden is a gracious Victorian
Italianate mansion built in 1847 and situated in 2.9 hectares
of superb landscaped gardens. Como is owned and managed
by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria).
Enjoy the magnificent historic surroundings as you
exchange vows in the gardens of the Como Estate. Whether
a grand affair for up to 300 guests on the Fountain Terrance
or an intimate gathering at the Ellis Stones Water Garden,
Como Historic House and Garden reflects the romance and
elegance of a bygone era to make your wedding day very
special and a memorable occasion. Serve your guests a glass
of champagne to enjoy as they stroll through the gardens
after the ceremony.
In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies may be
conducted on the ground floor verandah of the house
dependent on the number of guests. For an additional
non-refundable fee of $1000.00 (including GST) the
Como Ballroom or the Pavilion is available for hire as a
wet weather contingency until 3.00 pm on the day of the
ceremony.
